Recommendation Rec(2001)10 on the
European Code of Police Ethics says:
64. Member states shall promote and encourage research on the police
, both by the police themselves and external institutions. We want to
seriously
research on the Police all over Europe.
The Spanish Limited Company "
Cooperación
Internacional en Tecnologías Avanzadas (CITA), SL
" and the Spanish non-for-profit association "
Asociación para la Prevención y Estudio de Delitos, Abusos
y Negligencias en Informatica y Comunicaciones Avanzadas
(
APEDANICA
)" are working in a project proposal for police research on Technology, Statistics,
Knowledge Engineering and Ethics for Sensitive Police Activities in Europe.
Right now we are looking for European partners, official-political contacts
and legal advice in order to make an international proposal for an European
Economic Interest Groping and a network of expert witness on police affairs.
We can send some document drafts to anybody interested in Technology, Statistics,
Knowledge Engineering and Ethics for Sensitive Police Activities in Europe.
The first kind step to start a cooperative relationship is an "
Expression
of Interest" with celar identification, professional and organisation
information and background (public references) that we can forward to other
members for evaluation. Of course, we are very open to participate in other
projects or proposals of any European organisation concerning police and
expert witnessing for European Courts of Law.
We think that Recommendation Rec(2001)10 on the European Code of Police Ethics
must be developed furhter and efficiently applied in every European country,
and independient and external organisations could share information, know-how
and expertise on police activities with us for this aim.
